  • Strictly observe speed limits in residential areas; some rural roads have no limits
  • Show respect by not confusing the Isle of Man flag with the British flag
  • Avoid loud conversations and camera flashes in churches and historic sites
  • Keep distance from wildlife (seals, etc.) and do not feed them
  • Smoking is banned indoors; use designated outdoor areas only
  • Cash is pounds only; euros and US dollars are not accepted in most shops
